THE SHORT ANSWER

Membership is $200 a month, or $140 a month on the 12-month plan. There is a one-time $300 starter package when you join, which covers registration, your first year of association membership and your full uniform; the $70 association fee renews yearly after that. A single class without a membership is $40. A one-hour private lesson is $120 plus tax.

Every price, one page

The same rates apply to every program — JK/SK, kids, teens and adults. What changes is the class you train in, not the price.

WHAT THE MEMBERSHIP ACTUALLY BUYS

Membership is monthly, not per class. You train every session your group runs that week, and there is no per-class charge on top of it. Which group you are in depends on age and starting point — see every group we run if you are not sure where you or your child fits.

The $300 starter package is paid once, at the start. It covers registration, your first year of association membership and your full uniform, so there is no separate uniform bill on top. The association fee is $70 a year and renews annually after that first year. Sparring gear is not part of it: students get their own once they progress to sparring, and a beginner does not need any.

WHAT YOU PAY ON DAY ONE

Your first class costs nothing. You come in, train once, and decide afterwards. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring water — everything else is provided.

When you do join, the first payment is the one-time $300 starter package plus your first month: $200 on month to month, or $140 on the 12-month plan. After that you pay the monthly rate. Sparring gear is bought separately when you are ready for it.

WHERE YOU TRAIN

WHO TEACHES

Classes are taught by Sergey Baskin, 2nd Degree Black Belt. You can meet him at your free class, or read more about the instructors before you come in.

The questions people actually ask

These are the price questions that come in by email and phone, answered in full.

Is there a contract?+
There are two options and you choose. Month to month at $200 does not tie you to a term. The $140 rate is the 12-month plan, which is a one-year commitment in exchange for the lower monthly price. Ask for the membership agreement and read it before you decide anything.
Is there anything between month to month and a full year?+
Yes. A 3-month term is $180 a month, which is $540 for the term. A 6-month term is $160 a month, which is $960 for the term. Both sit between month to month at $200 and the 12-month plan at $140. Every figure here is before tax, and you will get the total in writing before you commit to anything.
What if my child starts and then stops?+
Start on month to month. It costs more per month than the yearly plan, but it does not tie you to a year, and that is the right trade when you are not yet sure. Use the free class first. If your child is still on the fence, a $40 drop-in lets them come back once more before anything is signed.
We want to sign up more than one person. Is there a family rate?+
Yes. Every membership in the family is $20 a month less than the standard rate, the first one included. It applies whichever plan you are on, so a parent and child, or two siblings, cost less together than two separate memberships. Tell us who is joining and you will get the exact monthly total.
Can I just come occasionally instead of joining?+
You can. A single class is $40 with no membership. Be straight with yourself about the maths though: at $140 a month on the yearly plan, four drop-ins already cost more than a full month of training. The drop-in is there for visitors and one-offs, not as the cheap way to train regularly.
How much is a private lesson, and how long is it?+
A private lesson is $120 plus tax for one hour, one on one, built around what you want to work on. People take privates to start with less pressure, to catch up, or to work on one specific problem. You can also try a free group class first and decide afterwards. Call to arrange a time.
