RANKS & BELTS
The Periods of times below are the minimum requirements for a student to be able to take a test. The student will be tested to his or her’s next rank only when the instructor decides they are ready, based on their performance in classes, seriousness.
Some courses may shorten the times below, like Instructors course.
The periods for young and partially active students can be longer.
YELLOW BELT
Six months from the start of training
ORANGE BELT
Eight months from the previous belt
GREEN BELT
One year from the previous belt
BLUE BELT
One year from the previous belt
BROWN BELT
One year from the previous belt
BLACK BELT 1’ST DAN
Eighteen Months from the previous belt.
BLACK BELT 2’ND DAN
Three years from the previous belt

Five years from the previous belt
