Your first regular group class at K.A.M.I Canada is free. Use this guide to choose your class and prepare for your visit.
No booking required
Check the current timetable and drop in on a scheduled day for your age group. You do not need to complete a form or become a member before trying the class.
1. Choose your class
Regular classes start at age 5. Choose the appropriate group:
- JK/SK, ages 5–6: 5:00–5:30 pm.
- Kids, ages 7–9: 5:30–6:15 pm.
- Kids, ages 10–12: 6:15–7:00 pm.
- Teens, ages 13–17: 7:00–8:00 pm.
- Adults: 8:00–9:00 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Children and teens train twice weekly: Group 1 on Monday and Wednesday, or Group 2 on Tuesday and Thursday. There are no regular weekend group classes. Check the timetable before coming for any posted updates.
2. Bring comfortable clothes and water
Wear clothes you can move comfortably in and bring a water bottle. You do not need to buy a uniform before your free trial. No previous martial arts experience is required.

For parents
Parents are welcome to stay and watch. If your child is nervous, they can observe and join in when ready. Read more about the Kids & Teens program.
Access and individual training needs
The studio is on the second floor. If you have questions about building access or need help choosing an appropriate class, contact us before travelling so we can discuss your needs.

After your trial
If you would like to join, review our membership plans and fees and ask the instructor about next steps. The free trial covers one regular group class. Private lessons, women’s self-defence and corporate sessions are arranged individually.
